The first three Sundays and the last Saturday of the month, the Monti neighborhood holds a famous urban market, called MercatoMonti, in via Leonina 46, a few steps away from Cavour underground station.
Since 2009, you can find at this market the best clothing selection designed by young stylists, independent and vintage items, accessories, homecrafted creations, modern art and collectors’ items, books, illustrations and all kinds of rarities.
The market testifies the merging of ancient and modern, avantgarde and traditional, typical of the Monti area. Beside the historical sites, such as the Coliseum and the Forum, among the ancient buildings of the neighborhood, you can find more recent, brilliant and alternative creations.
